A few more images from the amazing cemetery in Paris!

Another few amazing views of Cimeterie Montmartre...there are some really wonderful monuments here.Enjoy!    Mmmm....A moment of thought!
This next image is of a monument that l rather admired, the only one l saw built in blue stone!
This next image is of a German lady, born in 1924 and died in 2009 and who from the writing at the bottom of the stone, l think was also Jewish. That may explains why there are stones on the gravestone. These are stones left on the grave by people who have visited, some thing l have often seen on Jewish graves. Not sure the history of thjis though!
This next grave is a fun one, which is full of home-made thing, candles ad plants. By the many things that have been left on this grave, l think it is visited often. A very personalised grave.

I have come up against my limit for images in Goggle....so l either pay or move! So l will let you know tomorrow what l have decided!!!!!!!

Interesting (and wonderful) that so many styles exist in this one cemetery. The personalized-decoration one reminds me a bit of Mexican graves. That is a tradition I think there to leave something personal when you visit. Makes them so bright and colorful and somehow hopeful.

Wow, we can only leave flowers. That is so interesting to be able to leave tokens of affection and or meaning.
