I had a great day in town today. Thanks Jenny.

Today, my husband took me up to town, to meet up with our daughter. My gorgeous daughter, Jenny, took me for a belated ( but planned ) meal at the Ham Yard Hotel ...

and then a visit to see the Anselm Kiefer, at the RA. It was amazing.

Then we went for a quick walk around Fortnum and Masons .... beautifully decorated place.

Then .... look who went to Apple !!!

A certain young rascel, paintings and my studio.

Had this young rascel last weekend! he is so much fun.

I was trying to paint a picture for a "Christmas" raffle, for one of the local schools. Just couldn't get it right. I was tryong too hard and it showed.

It now looks like this.......

Then this .....

Not sure where this is going next ! ... i love surprises!

These are some of the stamps l have made ... just experimenting.

I finished this painting earlier this evening. Not sure what the title is yet. It is a scene looking from another planet ... up to our world.

Another four paintings ... in the works, as they say.

Would you like a tour of my new " tidy " studio ... well tidy for me ! Firstly my kitchen ... which also acts as my studio.

This is the first studio,yo see, when you enter artyfizz. It is used for baby and toddler sessions, oh and parties .

This is my second studio, which is for the Adults, my After-School children and parties! :)

This is my last room, which l use as a Sitting Room. I have a lot of storage behind the glass doors.

Then lastly ... the loo. Which now has shelves and of course, the wonderful "fish" toilet seat!

I love artyfizz ... having all the fun with the childen and my studio. I am so lucky.

Red Poppies .......

By now, most of you will have seen the amazing Remembrance Poppies, at The Tower of London. So l wondered how many of you saw the start of this amazing Art Project? I have been a few times since the beginning and it has been amazing to watch.
When we first went, there were hardly any people around and lots of them didn't know what was going on?

The second time we went, there was a plaque explaining who had made the poppies and why they were there.

My son was home from Australia, on holiday, so he came with us to see this amazing Art Project.

And so it starts.

I thought it was a shame they couldn't hide all this ... but know l realise they had so much "stuff" there was no room!

They just keep on coming.

One weekend l went, the volunteers were there, planting the poppies. One of which ... is mine!!!

The poppies come in parts, put together and then planted.

See what l mean, that there were a few people here, at the beginning!!

The weekend of November 2nd, we were
on the other side of the river. Look at those queues!!! They had to close the local Tube Station because
the crowds were so great. I wonder if the artist ever thought, his creation would become so powerful ?
